[ts-gen] How symbols and contracts are defined during database creation

thanks -- Bill will take a look Monday, as will I when I get 
off the laptop I use on the weekends.

One thing the TWS does not do is give specific version 
information about itself (it does list client and server 
versions, but there are variations).  Which specific TWS 
version, and solely for curiousity the Java is in play?
